It's now impossible to imagine the marketing world without social media, but when it first arrived it made brand managers very nervous. They were worried that they would lose control of the conversation.
We wanted to convince marketeers that social media provided a huge opportunity. To dramatise this, we mailed clients and prospects a birdcage to encourage them to set their brand free. A personalised microsite completed the activity.
The campaign generated numerous new business leads, and opened the door for new agency clients such as McCain, Channel 5 and Kellogg’s.
